What it is to film Ludo - which creates distance - ideas of collaboration (ethics!) - but has got me thinking about setting up collaborative spaces to explore an equal horizontal relationship with Ludo - I would have to drop my position or role - to be unknown/ spontaneous - listening and responding instinctively - what would this look like / feel like - what are these collaborative zones? Set up camera - record interactions. What is he teaching me? Is he teaching me about the Pre-human body/ perspective? Is it possible to meet as an equal?
Bringing in social element - Ana Bartram - workshop at KARST - artists and their dogs. Perhaps interview people / or record people and their dogs - interested in relationship and articulating an intelligence of animal wild body. Then there is a tension: WILD ANIMAL BODY - raw primal life-force energy / DOMESTICATED BODY - where energy is controlled, restricted, sedated.
Clay as healing medium. Clay has strong medicinal properties, used today and in ancient cultures - strong detoxifier - working with clay and people - not 'washing feet' but perhaps 'rooting with clay'? - Talked about the sculptural objects I am making, I'm not sure it is about the objects but the process - but working with material is a way in for me, it's important to get physical, to interact, to play / experiement.
